Installation #
1. OjtPlugin Installation (required)

1. If you already have ojtPlugin, you can skip the ojtPlugin installation tutorial, you can skip this step

2. Then in your Plugin Gallery dashboard menu enter the license you got from the purchase and click install
3. After the plugin is installed then you activate the plugin
4. Then you go to the left sidebar menu and select RePEc
5. Enter the license code again that we sent you in the registration email at the time of purchasing the plugin, then next
6. Then fill in the column information below with the data that you registered earlier in RePEc indexing.

Q: If I previously had a RePEc archive code used in one of my journals, can I use the same archive code for another journal that in same OJS Installation?
A: Yes. You can use the same archive code, if the journal is on the same OJS installation.
Q: Can I use the same RePEc archive code for my other journal sites that are on different domains or different websites?
A: No. You cannot use the same archive code for another journal that on different domains or different websites. If you want to use the archive code for a journal on a different OJS installation, then you need to request a new archive code to RePEc for that site.

9. Then click Go to Dashboard
10. Select Issues, to display all available volumes in your journal
11. Then you select the issue / volume where all articles will be generated to create an rdf file
12. The plugin will automatically create an rdf file for all the articles on that volume, and if a checklist appears as shown below, the article has been successfully generated by the plugin.
13. To ensure the generate rdf file, you can check on your server at the location:
yourojs/RePEc/three_letter_code_your_journal/six_letter_identity_code/
14. Then if you make changes to the data on one of the articles previously registered in the plugin. Then you can regenerate the article so that the plugin will update the data automatically on the existing rdf file, as shown below.

How to Registered Journal to RePEc. #
1. Ensure your journal is within the scope of economics to be eligible for indexing on RePEc. Next, follow the steps below to obtain three-letter code that will serve as identifiers for your journal, Please create a new email with content like the example below:

2. After you get three-letter code from RePEc Team, please do the RePEc plugin setup like the tutorial at the beginning of the document, the tutorial will automatically create an archive folder configuration setup according to the RePEc requirements.
3. After all the configurations on the RePEc plugin have been successfully setup and the article list has been successfully generated, then to see the results and ensure that your journal’s RePEc database can be accessed publicly, please access it like the example below:
https://your_link_journal/RePEc/ (example live journal: https://ifjir.com/RePEc/)
4. Make sure when you access your RePEc folder location link, it successfully displays the folder as shown above.
5. After that, please email the RePEc team and write the content information content for the location of your RePEc journal link. So that after successful confirmation, your RePEc database will resync into the RePEc database every 1×24 hours.
Note:
If you get the failure message “Forbidden, You don’t have permission to access this resource.” when accessing your RePEc journal folder link, then please contact your hosting to be able to allow the RePEc folder to be accessed publicly.
How to know the journal is indexed to RePEc. #
Check validation #
1. To find out the validation of the data archive and RDF articles that have been made, you can access the following link:

2. Please replace the 3 identity codes as shown below with the identity of your journal.
3. Then you will get the details of your metadata journal server status.
Note:
This data will update every 1×24 hours, so any changes made will be updated tomorrow.

In some cases, users sometimes fail to access econpapers.repec.org page. To overcome this, you can try to access it using a proxy.

The data in this statistic displays data from the previous month, so the newly indexed journal will get statistical data for the following month.
How to renew or input the RePEc Quota. #
1. When the quota for using the RePEc OJS 3 Plugin index has reached the limit, a notification will appear that you must renew.
2. You can reorder the package quota RePEc on RePEc Indexing – OJS 3 Plugin
3. After you have finished getting the license code from the openjournaltheme team, please go to the OJS dashboard > RePEc Indexing Plugin > Click “settings” as in this image:

1. Subsciption Mode
a. Single Journal: Please select this if the license you purchased is a single journal type (if you purchased Package 1 or Package 2 on the RePec Indexing Plugin). This type means that the quota used only applies to 1 journal (single journal).
b. Institutional: Please select this if the license you purchased is a Institutional type (if you purchased Package 3 on the RePec Indexing Plugin). This type means that the inputted quota can be used simultaneously on all journals on the same domain and the same OJS installation.

After you have finished select the subscription mode, please input your license code here.

Frequently Asked Questions
