When your document quota balance runs out, you can easily purchase additional document quota to continue using the service. For example 1 quota allow you to create 1 JATS file in the editor.

General Terms of Service
1. No Refund
All purchases are final. We do not provide refunds for any reasons.
2. Non-Transferable Quota
Purchased quotas are tied to the integrated JATS account during the order process and cannot be transferred to another account.
3. Quota Usage
Quotas are valid only for their intended purpose as stated in the product description.
4. Quota May Not Be Resold
Quota purchased is only for registered institutions or account and may not be resold in any form.
5. Support and Assistance
Support is limited to the scope of issues related to our JATS Editor functionality. Third-party issues are not covered.
6. Prohibited Activities
Any attempt to manipulate or exploit the quota system, including but not limited to duplication or unauthorized sharing, will result in account termination.
7. Manuscript Submission Format
Clients who choose implementation by our team package must submit manuscripts in .doc or .docx format.
Submissions in .pdf format are subject to additional processing fees $5 USD/per document.
Terms of Service for Annual Basic Package
1. In this Annual Basic Package user will get 20 (twenty) quotas for converting documents into XML within a 1-year period. And one quota can be used to create 1 XML document.
2. The quota under this Annual Basic Package can only be applied to a maximum of 1 journal on the same 1 domain (same 1 OJS installation)
3. The creation or implementation of XML files must be carried out independently by the user (self-implementation) using the provided tutorials. Our team does not provide additional implementation services beyond the package terms.
4. The Annual Basic service is valid for 1 (one) year, and the quota will only be allocated after full payment has been received in our account.
5. Full payment must be made before the service is activated. There are no end-of-term or installment payments.
6. To renew the service for the next year, clients must complete payment at least 30 (thirty) days before the contract expires, using the invoice provided by us.
7. If renewal payment is not received in our account by the deadline, the service will be temporarily suspended until payment is completed. No quota will be provided during the suspension period.
8. Any unused quota can be carried over to the next year only if the client renews the contract continuously. Upon renewal, an additional 20 (twenty) quotas will be added and combined with the remaining quota from the previous year.
9. If the client does not renew the contract, the remaining unused quota will be fully removed from the user’s account immediately upon termination of the service contract.
10. If the 20 annual quotas are fully used before the contract ends and the user wishes to obtain additional quotas, the user may only purchase an additional Annual Basic Package at the specified price. Single quota purchases are not available for this package.
11. Quotas cannot be transferred, distributed, or assigned to other journals or websites.
12. No refunds will be provided under any circumstances once the service is active, either partially or fully.
13. If a user violates the terms of service, Openjournaltheme reserves the right to terminate the service and revoke any remaining quota without issuing any refund.
14. Openjournaltheme reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time, and any changes will take effect from the date they are announced to clients.
Terms of Service for Annual Gold Package
1. In this Annual Gold Package user will get unlimited quotas for converting documents into XML within a 1-year period.
2. The quota under this Annual Gold Package can only be applied to a maximum of 10 journals on the same 1 domain (same 1 OJS installation)
3. The implementation or creation of XML files is carried out independently (self-implementation) by the user using the provided tutorials. Our team does not provide additional implementation services beyond the package terms.
4. The Annual Gold service is valid for 1 year, and quota will only be allocated once full payment has been received in our account.
5. Payment must be made in full before the service is activated. There are no options for post-payment or installment plans.
6. For service renewal in the next year, clients must make payment no later than 30 (thirty) days before the contract expires via the invoice we send.
7. If renewal payment is not received in our account by the deadline, the service will be temporarily suspended until payment is completed. No quota will be granted during suspension; the quota will be held, and clients cannot generate XML during this period.
8. Unlimited quota applies only during the active contract. If the client does not renew the service or terminate the contract, the quota access will be fully stopped at that time, and clients cannot generate new XML files. There is no system of accumulation or remaining quota.
9. Quota cannot be transferred, distributed, or assigned to other journals or websites.
10. On the JATS Editor dashboard, the quota will be displayed as a real number (e.g., 700, etc.) merely as an indicator of each user. If the number appears exhausted before the contract ends, clients can notify or contact us to update the quota. Quota remains unlimited during the active contract, so clients do not need to worry.
11. If clients wish to use an unlimited quota package for institutions or more than 10 journals, please contact us at [email protected] for information on special pricing.
12. There is no refund under any circumstances once the service is active, whether partial or full.
13. If users violate the terms above, the service provider (Openjournaltheme) reserves the right to terminate the service and revoke the quota without any refund.
