Issue in OJS 3 is a place to store and publish an article. Usually we create it if we want to accommodate / publish the article.
Every time an issue is made, we are usually asked to fill in the Volume, Number, Year, and title for the article so that the issue can be made.
However, when you don’t want / use the issue. You want to delete it. But you don’t know how to delete the issue, so here we will show you how to delete an issue on your OJS site.
So, in this tutorial. we will show how to delete an Issue in OJS 3
Tips:
- If you want remove issue at “Future Issues” section, follow this.
- or you want remove issue at “Back Issues” section, follow this.
Removes the issue in the “Future Issues” section #
First, open your Dashboard OJS, then go to Issues -> “Future Issues”
Then find the Future Issues you want to delete, and if you do, tap the issue drop-down -> Delete.
Select “Ok” to confirm removal of Future Issues you chose earlier.
And the Future Issues you selected were successfully removed from the “Future Issues” section!
Removes the issue in the “Back issues” section #
First, open your Dashboard OJS, then go to Issues -> “Back Issues”
Then find the Back Issues you want to delete, and if you do, tap the issue drop-down -> Delete.
Select “Ok” to confirm removal of Back Issues you chose earlier.
And the Back Issues you selected were successfully removed from the “Back Issues” section!
